ISLAND KITCHEN AND TABLE
The small kitchen at the back extends into the garden
The party wall of this semi-detached house has become the long wall of the fully equipped kitchen, featuring a bar area hidden behind recessed doors, spacious handleless linear cabinets, built-in appliances, and the original inset washing area that adds movement to the space. This design leaves ample room for the island, with a dining table built on-site, creating a striking structure that stretches nearly five metres.
The design of the is part of the overall renovation of the house, a typical 1930s English semi-detached home. The owners wanted to create space for a room where they could dine, entertain, and relax. The environment is bright and warm, with the wall-mounted kitchen area in a light tone contrasting with the wood-effect finish of the island. The former is made from XDoor, an eco-friendly material, while the latter is crafted from Tecnolam, which offers high aesthetic performance at an attractive price. The worktops and backsplash are made from Dekton® Vigil, featuring grey veining with a subtle golden touch.
