RENOVATION OF A 1930S KITCHEN
Sensitivity to the original style
The 1930s charm of the apartment was enhanced with a careful renovation that preserved the regular layout, featuring a central entrance corridor with rooms on either side, period doors with panelling and geometric decorative frames, and the original stucco work on the three-metre-high ceilings.
This studio house belongs to a product and interior designer who also designed the kitchen himself, using the D23 variant of the All-arounD system. The central island features steel doors with a recessed handle and a Carrara marble worktop, also used for the backsplash in the washing area, nestled between tall units in Tecnolam walnut. The dining area, featuring the Tulip table designed by Eero Saarinen, is complemented by a built-in bench, tiled with small rectangular tiles that continue seamlessly from the wall.
